Your camera never leaves your phone.

The camera

All exercise detection runs on your device using Apple's Vision framework. Video frames are processed in memory and discarded. Nothing is recorded, stored, or uploaded, and there is no server that accepts video. The only output is a rep count, saved locally on your phone. Rep counting works in airplane mode.

What stays on your device

Your blocked-app selection, settings, unlock history, and rep history are stored locally on your phone. App blocking uses Apple's Screen Time API, which is privacy-preserving by design: we cannot see which apps you selected, only how many.

What leaves your device

If you use Squad (friend streaks), we store an anonymous profile on our servers: a random device identifier, your display name, your invite code, daily rep counts and streaks, and a push token for nudges. No email, no phone number, no account required.

We use RevenueCat to process subscriptions, PostHog for anonymous product analytics (screens viewed, features used), and Apple, Meta, and TikTok attribution tools to measure whether our ads work. Ad attribution beyond Apple's default only runs if you allow tracking in the iOS prompt.

We never sell your data.

Deleting your data

Local data: delete the app. Squad data: use the delete account option in Settings, which permanently removes your profile, friendships, activity, and nudges from our servers. Or email us and we will do it for you.
