By downloading or using DoomShield (the “App”), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

The service

DoomShield helps you reduce time on social apps by blocking selected apps until you complete real-world exercise reps to earn access back. It also offers an optional friends (“Squad”) feature for streak accountability.

Subscriptions & billing

• DoomShield Pro is offered as an auto-renewable subscription (weekly, monthly, and/or annual plans). Pricing is shown in the App before purchase.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
• Your subscription automatically renews at the then-current price unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription, and turn off auto-renewal, in your Apple ID settings (Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions).
• If a free trial is offered, any unused portion is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

Health & safety disclaimer

DoomShield is not a medical or fitness-coaching service. The push-up counter is an estimate and may be inaccurate. Exercise at your own risk and consult a physician before beginning any exercise program. Do not use the camera feature while operating a vehicle or in any unsafe environment.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the App, attempt to bypass its security, reverse-engineer it, or use it to harass other users through the Squad feature.

Your content & account

You are responsible for the display name and any content you submit. You may delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings → Delete account & data in the App.

Disclaimer of warranties

The App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted blocking, accurate rep counting, or that the App will meet your requirements.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BasedLabs will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
